well folks, it took me a year but i finally realized i had absolutely no clue what I was doing, so here's a cheat sheet for my fellow idiots (spoilers? i guess?)

the first text input is for the longest code

the access pad, as we know, is for the short code

the dashboard input is for the final "code" (hint: don't try to mix up the letters)

not sure if I found all the endings or not, I was wondering if there is an ending where Andy doesn't die (other than the bone-stealing one) but I don't think there is. Great game now that I've finally gotten through it! I also liked how you could get more information about specific endings by going back and doing other endings. im a dummy but im a stubborn dummy that will come back a year later to realize i was misspelling the codes the whole time

i really loved playing through this! the sense of tension is impeccably done, and i found the characters quite compelling even though i didn't spend a ton of time with them. the twists in the story were really neat and i personally very much enjoyed the little ending blurbs. the checkpoint feature was also much appreciated!! all in all i had a great time :) really glad i came across this!

thank you so much for the kind words :) i'm so happy you enjoyed playing!

This is /mostly/ a good game, but given that replaying from checkpoints seems to be required, it's very annoying that time-delays in certain segments can't be skipped.

I give up on the s,e,v,y code in the synth bay, i've also gone through every comment, I can't find any way to do this, could i get a little help? (i've been doing it for a couple days now, please help)

i appreciate your dedication to playing this through :) just to be sure, there are two possible codes you can enter in the synthesis bay. the YVES code has to do with the dashboard. the access pad has a different code that was mentioned in the book.

I'm having so much trouble with the y,v,e,s code. Ik I have to type it like a name (capitalize only the first letter, no spaces etc), and ik it has to sound like "Eve". BUT WHAT IS IT???!!!! I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT! D:

Edit: nvm I figured it out :D

what's the code? i've been trying for a few minutes now

EDIT: NVM I THINK I KNOW

Edit 2: No I don't

Edit 3: MUAHAHAH I GOT IT

This was fun! Thanks for putting it in the Queer Games Bundle. I got the first "good" ending, but replaying from the very start is time-consuming, some kind of skip or fast forward would help. Very good writing though, great work!

thank you so much for playing - I'm glad you enjoyed :) and I will definitely think of a way to make replays smoother in my next games :)

I've tried all combinations of y,v,e,s with and without commas, and capitalized like a name. I'm unsure how to proceed.

just to be sure, there are 3 unique codes in this game that pertain to the dashboard, access panel, and the input earlier on in the game. the y,v,e,s code should only be for one of them!

I am on the first one.

The code for that is actually not related to the YVES code you read! Hope that helps :)

It did, thank you for the assistance.

If you forget  the hint for  first code do you need to start again or is that separate to the y,v,e,s code? Cos i've tried every variant of "Eve" using the letters provided so I  think I'm looking at the wrong hint for the wrong puzzle

It should be separate to the YVES code if that helps!

I don't know if I'm missing something but I tried every single spelling and a lot of capitalization variations for the v,e,s,y code based on your hint and I still can't get it D:

try a spelling of those four letters that sounds like the name "Eve,", written with a capital letter at the beginning like names are. i hope that helps! :)

i did ;-; ive gone through all possible respellings of y,v,e,s but im definitely missing something here, but what is life without some challenges in our way. then again this isnt even the synthesis bay or anything, i just somehow managed to get stuck on day 3

i appreciate your patience with the game! you might have some success with playing around with your capitalization as if it were a name :)

I also am stuck with the 3rd day (the first time you can input stuff) since I don't remember and didn't record the "hide" command. Is there a way to go back or reset the game, or to get a reminder of the hide command?

All I can say is... Wow. That was good. I tried all of the possible endings and no matter what path I took, the storytelling was great! The lack of visuals might make it feel a little bland but I loved the minimal text-only story, it left so much to the imagination!

Alright I'm gonna need a sequel to this masterpiece, unless it doesn't fit the storytelling narrative. Either way I still want another sequel.

thank you so much for playing :) i'm so glad you enjoyed this little project of mine. you can find a tiny spinoff of this series (the now we've named), and i'm in the process of planning a sequel for sometime in the distant future!

Still trying to figure out why V,E,S, and Y aren't working. I think it has to do with capitalizing or something, but if you add capitalization variations there are so many possibilities it's not worth testing out every single one.

I recommend writing out your capitalization like a name would be written :)

For the dashboard in the synthesis bay, ive entered all combinations of v,e,s, and y into it and i still cant get past it, Is there something im missing?
